Hi everyone,

I’m 27 years old, and I’ll be moving to Basel in early January for an 18-month V.I.E. (french international volonteer with a governement contract)) assignment.

I’m looking for one or more flatmates (women) to find and rent an apartment together in Basel — ideally in or near the city centre :

Apartment: modern or recently renovated, with 2–3 bedrooms

Pets allowed: I have a very calm and lazy british shorthair cat who mostly sleeps and isn’t playful

Garage or parking space: required, as I’ll be bringing my car/bike (I’ll cover the cost myself if I’m the only one using it)

Budget: around 1,500 CHF/month (including my share of rent + garage)

I’m calm, tidy, and easy-going. I love cooking and baking, so if you enjoy good food, that’s a plus!

I speak French, English, and German, so I’d be happy in an international flatshare.

I already have all the shared furniture and kitchen equipment, so you’d only need to furnish your own bedroom.

My parents will act as guarantors for my part of the rent.

Since I live close to the Swiss border, I can visit apartments in person to check them out — a good way to avoid scams or bad surprises.

Please note that I’m only interested in a flatshare where I can bring my furniture, my cat, and my car.
